Line Source or Vortex

The same expression describes a "point" source or vortex in 2D
(which can be thought of as a vortex line or line of sources in 3-D). When
K is real the expression describes a source with radially directed induced
velocity vectors; imaginary values lead to vortex flows with induced velocities
in the tangential direction. Further discussion of these flows is given
in the next section.
